What makes Nexa smart?
Nexa is unlike any other cochlear implant. It has its own internal memory, its firmware can be updated, and it works with sound processors that manage their power across the day.

Implant memory
Nexa is the only cochlear implant with internal memory. Your hearing settings are stored securely on the implant, so they can be quickly copied to a new or replacement sound processor and you are back to hearing sooner.
All-day battery
The Nexa system responds to your changing listening needs and adapts its power use across the day, giving all-day battery life so you can get on with life.
Which sound processors work with Nexa?
Nexa works with two sound processors: the Nucleus 8 Nexa, worn behind the ear, and the Kanso 3 Nexa, worn off the ear.
